The first technical agreement was signed between Nippon Soda, Tokyo, Japan, and Master Builders, Cleveland, USA. |

Nisso Master Builders Co.,Ltd. (NMB) was formed as a joint venture between Nippon Soda and Martin Marietta, USA. The initial share capital of the new company was ¥200 million. Its business started in December,1960. |

Nippon Soda sold a part of its shares of NMB to Sandoz Ltd., who then became the major shareholder of NMB. |

Nippon Soda tranferred all its shares of NMB to Sandoz, and NMB became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sandoz. |

Nisso Master Builders Co.,Ltd. and Pozzolith Bussan Co.,Ltd. were renamed NMB Ltd. and Pozzolith Bussan Ltd. respectively. |

SANDOZ Ltd. sold all its shares to SKW Construction Chemicals Japan, a 100% subsidiary of SKW Trostberg AG(Germany). SKW Construction Chemicals changed its name to NMB-SKW Ltd. in March 1997. |

NMB Ltd. merged with NMB-SKW Ltd. The resultant company NMB-SKW was renamed NMB Co.,Ltd. on July 1. The capital was increased to ¥4.51 billion. |

NMB became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Degussa AG, the merge of SKW Trostberg(Germany)and Degussa-H ls AG(Germany). |

PCS Co.,Ltd.(PCS) was independently formed from PBK with a share capital of \10 million as a wholly-owned subsidiary of NMB and then its actual operation was begun from October 1, 2002. |

The acquisition of Degussa AG's construction chemicals business by BASF Aktiengesellchaft was completed on July 1st 2006. As a result, BASF Ltd. has become the new shareholder of our company. |

Degussa Construction Systems Co., Ltd. changed its business name to BASF Construction Systems Co., Ltd. |

As of April 1, 2007, Pozzolith Bussan Co., Ltd., and BASF Construction Systems Co., Ltd. were merged into NMB Co., Ltd. NMB Co., Ltd. then remains as the surviving company under the new name of "BASF Pozzolith Ltd." |
